Standard Terms and Conditions For Dudley Sports Juniors FC

 

1. Introduction
Dudley Sports Juniors FC("the Club") is a non-profit organisation providing football activities for children and young people. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules and expectations for all members, players, parents/guardians, and volunteers involved with the Club.
2. Membership
- Membership is open to children and young people aged 6 - 18 who wish to participate in club activities.
- Membership is subject to the completion of a registration, where applicable, payment of any agreed fees.
- Where any member receives a fine from the FA, or any other disciplinary body, which is raised with the Club, the member accepts the liability for the fine and any associated costs (e.g. payment processing fees, administration fees). Ongoing membership will be subject to the payment of any fines that arise during the course of the season.
- All members must adhere to the Club's Code of Conduct.
3. Code of Conduct
- Players must show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators.
- Parents/guardians are expected to support their children positively and adhere to the Club’s parental conduct guidelines.
- Bullying, discrimination, or any form of abuse will not be tolerated.
- All participants must behave in a manner consistent with the Club’s values of respect, teamwork, and fair play.
4. Training and Matches
- Players are expected to attend training sessions and matches regularly and arrive on time.
- Parents/guardians should inform the coach in advance if a player is unavailable.
- Suitable kit and footwear must be worn.
- The Club will provide qualified coaches and appropriate facilities for all sessions.
5. Safeguarding and Welfare
- The Club is committed to providing a safe environment for all participants.
- All coaches and volunteers working with children will have an enhanced DBS check.
- Any concerns regarding a child’s welfare must be reported to the Club’s Welfare Officer.
6. Medical and Emergency Information
- Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date medical information and emergency contact details.
- The Club will take appropriate action in the event of illness or injury during club activities.
7. Photography and Media
- Photographs and videos may be taken for promotional and educational purposes.
- Consent for this will be obtained during registration and may be withdrawn at any time in writing.
8. Data Protection
- The Club complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Personal data will be stored securely and used only for club administration and communication purposes.

9. Liability
- The Club holds appropriate insurance cover for all activities.

10. Termination of Membership

- Members may also choose to leave the Club at any time by notifying the Club in writing.
11. Amendments
- The Club reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions as necessary.
- Members will be notified of any changes through publication of the updated terms and conditions via the Club website.
